"Personal Data" means information that relates to you as an individual, and can include information that can identify you or can tell us how you engage with our services.
User Account and E-commerce
Dual Air products are sold exclusively to hair professionals, apprentices and students. In order to ship products from our store and offer you exclusive content, we require you to sign up for a Dual Air user account before making a purchase.
The user account shows us who you are and that you either have a company, are in an apprenticeship with one, or are a student.
The information is saved and protected in a GDPR compliant cloud server environment for the sole purpose of fulfilling our business obligations to you, like sending you a correct invoice, shipping products to you or provide customer support.
We collect the following when you sign up for an account:
- Your full name
- Your email address and whether or not you have verified it
- Your company/apprenticeship company/school
- Time and date of account registration
- Time and date of last login
- Your purchases from our store (if any)
- Whether or not you would like to receive newsletters from us
User Data Modification
You have access to modify your user data in the account settings when logged in. If you want to request a complete deletion of your user account, get in touch with us.
Marketing
If you do not wish to receive newsletters anymore, you can unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of any email received.
Businesses in an established customer relationship with a Norwegian company can according to the legislation receive marketing material by different means of communication without prior specific consent. You can at any moment unsubscribe to this communication.
Payment Data
We do not collect or store any information about your payment methods. Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. You can read their privacy policy here.
Third-Party Integrations
An internal sales order document is generated by software from PowerOffice AS. Our system will enter your business information and order details as required by PowerOffice to get this task done. Your details are also used for accounting within the same software. PowerOffice's privacy policy can be read here.
Shopping Cart Data
Your Dual Air shopping cart is stored on your own computer as a localStorage object for several days until eventually being deleted or replaced with updated cart data. The sole purpose of the cart data is to let your browser remember products you have added.
We do not save any cart data on our side. Your order will only be saved in our systems the moment you have successfully paid for an order.
You can manually delete your local shopping cart by including "cookies and other site data" when clearing browser data from your browser settings.

As long as you consent to the use of cookies in your browser, our website will set certain third-party cookies:

Users can contact us through our contact form. Data from this form is stored in our helpdesk software from Freshworks so we can provide assistance to you. Read their privacy policy here.
Your personal website preferences are stored on your own computer as settings in the browser's localStorage. Dual Air has no access to these, but our website will not work without them. The settings tell our website which language and currency you prefer and whether or not you prefer dark mode.
You can delete these preferences by including "cookies and other site data" when clearing browser data from your browser settings.
