How to use your Dual Air T1
Working in unnatural positions can over time result in injuries to your body. Learn how to work efficiently and safely with your Dual Air blow-dryer.
Start by blow-drying, defining and parting the hair in the direction away from your own body. Use the upper air outlet:
Notice the grip used, where you support the Dual Air body with your index finger and keep the grip loose. The fan should always face towards your upper arm/body.
Use the lower nozzle when blow-drying downwards:
Again, take a look at the grip used for holding the blow-dryer. Support the dryer body with your index finger. Let it rest easily in your hand, in a loose and relaxed grip.
The fan should always face towards your upper arm/body so that you can work without tense shoulders. Aim to move your arm forward, and avoid lifting your arm out to the side while working.
Incorrect wrist position and grip
Avoid holding the blow-dryer with an incorrect grip and movements that can cause strain to your wrist:

Get in a good working position
When entering a new working position, always keep the area you are working on in front of you to keep tension off of your arms and shoulders. Turn the chair that your customer is sitting in and use the foot pump actively.
Take advantage of the angled nozzles
The changeable and angled nozzles make blow-drying the hair right from the roots easy, without risk of burning the scalp:
The longest edge of the nozzle should always face towards the customer
The Dual Air T1 opens up for unique possibilities regarding the drying process, by being able to more easily dry the pieces of hair from both the top and from below. You can also safely blow-dry from the roots.
Always finish from the top, by moving the blow-dryer from the scalp all the way to the ends to add shine and combat frizz. As always, keep a loose grip and support the dryer with your index finger.
Even when you have to lift your arms high, your elbows and shoulders are relaxed due to the blow-dryer being held straight out in front of the body, in a loose and balanced grip. Your elbows should always be pointing towards the floor!
Blow volume into the hair from underneath each section by starting with the nozzle against the scalp and over-directing your brush. Remember to that the longest edge of the nozzle should face towards the scalp.
Turn the nozzle until your wrist is in a natural position while blow-drying at the top of the head. Then move to the side of your customer. The blow-dryer should now lie diagonally with the fan facing towards your body. The hand holding your brush should hold the front of the brush so that the back of your hand is facing upwards. This should relieve any tension in your hands and wrists.
Thanks to amazing drying technology, the Dual Air T1 gives you optimal drying and amplifies the hair’s natural bounce. By being able to easily blow-dry the top and underside of the hair, the drying process will become more thorough and flexible, yielding longer-lasting results. Your customers will appreciate this greatly.
The angled nozzles make blow-drying in any direction easy, without the risk of burning the scalp in the process.
