A funny movement you can observe many professional hairdressers using is the salt and pepper shaker movement. We tried to find out more about why this happens.
We asked various hairdressers why they use their blow-dryer like a salt and pepper shaker. Most of them say they don’t know, or just inherited this method from their teachers.
But here are some good reasons for why hairdressers should stop shaking their blow-dryer: Shaking wet hair and at the same time the airflow of the blow-dryer, makes hairs climb up on each other. You end up with frizzy and dull hair.
